On 16 March 2015, the Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR-AAA), Prof. Nassib G. Ziadé, led a conversation with H. E. Mr. Jack Lang, the President of the Paris-based Arab World Institute and former French Minister of Culture and Education, about French culture, the activities of the Arab World Institute, and the development of culture in the Arab world. Mr. Lang highlighted the role that culture may play in the ongoing dialogue between Arab countries and the West. The event took place at The Shaikh Ebrahim Center for Culture and Research in Muharraq and was attended by Bahraini officials, foreign diplomats, and an audience of mainly francophones and Francophiles.
