Chairperson
Ali Al Aradi is the Founder and the senior lawyer of Ali Al Aradi Attorneys and Legal Consultants. He is licensed before the Court of Cassation and the Constitutional Court in Bahrain and has more than 27 years' experience in the practice of law, and in the fields of alternative dispute resolution, parliamentary and governmental affairs, diplomacy and politics.
His legal practice includes construction, contract and commercial, labour, intellectual property, real estate, data protection, alternative dispute resolution and litigation.
Ali is a mediator and also sits frequently as an arbitrator in diverse cases. He is a certified trainer in dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration and negotiation.
He has held a number of executive and advisory roles for legislative, commercial, semi-governmental and governmental organisations. He is currently a member of the Shura Council of Bahrain, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, a Member of the Board of Trustees of Isa Aawrd for Services to Humanity, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and a member of the Arab Parliament.
He is a former diplomat at the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs, former First Deputy Speaker of the Bahraini Council of Representatives and former Advisor to the Minister of Justice and Islamic Affairs and the Minister of Culture and Information.
