New group of students takes part in the BCDR’s international arbitration training program

A second group of students participated in the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution’s (BCDR-AAA) International Arbitration Training Program on 6 December 2014. The eighteen students, who are from diverse professional backgrounds and sectors in Bahrain, attended 12 training hours of the first module of the three-module training program in international arbitration over a two-day period. In addition, fifteen students who had already attended the first module of the program back in September of 2014 participated in the second module.

The first and second modules were taught by Dr. Adnan Amkhan Beno, Visiting Professor at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Kent (Brussels), Dr. Hamzah Haddad, Founder and Managing Director of the Law and Arbitration Center and the Arab Institute for Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Settlement in Jordan, and Professor Nassib G. Ziadé, CEO of the BCDR-AAA and Visiting Professor of Investment Arbitration at the University of Miami School of Law and Professor of International Arbitration at the Faculty of Law of Saint-Joseph University (Dubai). The program was made possible through support by Tamkeen for Bahraini candidates.
