
Mr. Amir Sultanov, Head of the Treaty-Law Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, conducted a comprehensive visit today, 20 August 2025, to the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR) as a key legal and dispute resolution institution in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The visit aimed to strengthen relations, explore cooperation opportunities, and introduce Mr. Sultanov to various dispute resolution options available in Bahrain. During his tour, Mr. Sultanov was accompanied by Ambassador Dr. Yousif Abdulkarim Bucheeri, Director-General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The tour included visits to the offices and facilities at the BCDR headquarters.

Following the tour, there was a meeting where Mr. Sultanov met with senior officials from the BCDR, including Mr. Ali Abdulla Al Aradi, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, and Mr. Ahmed Husain, CEO of the BCDR, along with Ambassador Dr. Bucheeri and other senior officials from the BCDR. The discussions focused on Bahrain's dispute resolution mechanisms and its cooperation with other international institutions in this area. Both parties expressed mutual interest in sharing expertise and best practices to improve their legal and commercial environments. This successful visit marks an important step toward closer collaboration between Bahrain and Uzbekistan, reinforcing their shared commitment to strengthening international legal frameworks and promoting efficient commercial dispute resolution.
