The Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution announces the promotion of two Bahraini Women to Senior Leadership Positions

The Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR) announced the promotion of two Bahraini women to senior leadership positions. Mrs. Fatema AlWardi has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Ms. Fatema Al Zayed Al as Chief Registrar (CR).

Reflecting on this occasion, Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Aradi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, stated: "We take great pride in seeing our Bahraini women colleagues assume leadership roles, reflecting the Chamber's commitment to empowering national talent and advancing gender diversity in leadership. This milestone supports our ongoing efforts to build a capable and inspiring leadership team that can drive the Chamber's vision and strengthen Bahrain's position as a leading regional hub for the development of the ADR industry."

For her part, Professor Marike Patrani Paulsson, Vice-Chairperson of the Chamber's Board of Trustees, emphasised that the distinguished calibre of female personnel within the Chamber is a source of pride. She observed that each phase of career progression presents new opportunities, broadening horizons for learning and offering renewed avenues to expand perceptions, cultivate leadership abilities, and refine expertise. These developments ultimately contribute to more effective contributions towards the realisation of the Chamber's objectives at all levels.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ahmed Husain, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the BCDR, emphasised the significance of ongoing strategic investment in Bahraini competencies and capacity building. He highlighted AlWardi and Al Jalahma's high competence, dedication, eagerness to learn, proactive initiatives, and excellence in executing various projects and achieving desired outcomes. He extended his best wishes to them in their new roles.

These promotions reaffirm the BCDR's commitment to developing Bahraini expertise, strengthening leadership capabilities, and advancing performance excellence. They also reflect the Chamber's ongoing efforts to enhance its executive leadership and operational efficiency through its core team, led by the Chief Registrars and a group of case managers comprising bilingual legal specialists proficient in Arabic and English, all of whom receive continuous professional training to ensure the highest standards of service in arbitration and mediation.
