Vice Chairperson meets representatives of the University of Miami School of Law and the Miami International Arbitration Institute

Professor Marike Patrani Paulsson, Vice Chairperson of the Bahrain Chamber for Disputre Resolution (BCDR) and Secretary General of the Bahrain Council for International Dispute Resolution of the Kingdom of Bahrain, met with representatives of the University of Miami School of Law and the Miami International Arbitration Institute, on the sidelines of the International Arbitration and the New York Convention course hosted by the University of Miami School of Law.

During the meeting, discussions focused on advancing new academic initiatives in international arbitration, and on completing the necessary procedural requirements to move the existing collaboration forward, including the delivery of arbitration courses, as well as exploring opportunities to expand the Institute's academic reach.

The discussions also included exploring pathways to broaden access to the White & Case International Arbitration LL.M. Program, within a broader framework aimed at deepening academic cooperation and expanding opportunities for students and practitioners.

These steps reflect the Kingdom of Bahrain's continued commitment to building international partnerships that support arbitration education, professional development, and the growth of specialized dispute resolution expertise in the region.

It is noted that the White & Case International Arbitration LL.M. Program is a leading academic programme recognised globally in this field, offering advanced arbitration training and distinguished legal scholarship.
